Privacy Notice

Last updated: 13 June 2026

This notice explains how Yōkai OS handles information when you visit yokaios.xyz, interact with @Yokaigptbot on Telegram, join a community using Yōkai, participate in quests or campaigns, or contact us through our official channels.

1. Information we may process

Depending on how you use Yōkai, we may process:

  • Telegram identifiers, usernames, display names, profile details, and username history.
  • Roles, interests, project memberships, admin permissions, and onboarding choices.
  • Referral activity, invite relationships, points, leaderboard activity, quest participation, campaign registrations, task submissions, and reward-related records.
  • Messages, support requests, moderation events, approved project knowledge, and community interaction data required to provide the service.
  • Optional information you choose to provide, such as an email address or wallet address for a specific campaign.
  • Technical and security information, such as request logs, browser or device information, IP-related network data, and service diagnostics.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate and improve Yōkai, including to:

  • Provide onboarding, community support, project-aware answers, referrals, quests, airdrops, campaigns, leaderboards, reporting, moderation, and support.
  • Verify permissions and keep project, admin, partner-group, and user contexts separated.
  • Detect abuse, duplicate activity, fraud, spam, security threats, and attempts to manipulate campaigns or rewards.
  • Maintain service reliability, troubleshoot issues, improve product performance, and understand how features are used.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

3. Legal grounds

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on the performance of a service requested by you, legitimate interests in operating and protecting Yōkai, consent for optional activities, or compliance with legal obligations. The applicable basis depends on the feature and context.

4. Project-scoped access

Project administrators can access only information connected to the projects and communities they are authorised to manage. Yōkai is designed to prevent one project from accessing another project's private data, admin discussions, partner-group context, or internal intelligence.

5. Service providers and third parties

Yōkai relies on third-party infrastructure and platforms, including Telegram and Cloudflare. These providers may process technical or account information under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also share information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or during a legitimate business restructuring.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising.

6. Retention

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and audit trails, resolve disputes, meet campaign or contractual requirements, and comply with law. Retention may vary by record type. Some records may be anonymised or aggregated instead of deleted.

7. Security and automated systems

Yōkai uses permission checks, approval gates, project isolation, moderation controls, and human-confirmed operational workflows. Rules and scoring may support recommendations, fraud prevention, campaign management, and community operations, but important actions are designed to remain permission-gated and human-controlled.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to contact your local data protection authority.

Some requests may be limited where information must be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or the rights of other users.

9. Website cookies and analytics

The current Yōkai OS website does not intentionally use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural tracking. Essential network and security processing may still occur through our hosting and infrastructure providers. If analytics, cookies, or additional tracking tools are added later, this notice will be updated.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as Yōkai evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page by updating the date above and, where appropriate, through an in-product or community notice.

11. Contact
